Finally I can put these up...these are from a competition I entered here for Crafty Originals... I had to come up with a single and a double page ...and they are on display at Paperific in Melb and on Chandon craft blog.

In the pic you can't really see what I've done with the bubble bath corner piece... it's covered in kindy glitz and has dimensional magic in the centers of the bubbles. On the word 'bubble bath' I've used a stamp that was supplied

On the cheeky monkey page...I've painted the word and monkeys...but covered the word in dimensional magic..

all Items were supplied by Chandon Craft and Crafty Originals

Just spent some of the day at a friends house...she's bought her twins a 16' round trampoline...it's bloody huge...it took 4 of us about 2.5 hours to put it together...with a short coffee break inbtween...It came with the padding and net and ladder...her kids are going to love it.

Heading to the club tonight...how cool would that cash be right about now....must be up around $1700 by now..

We went camping at Torrumbarry on the Murray over Easter with some friends, Torrumbarry is about a 15-20 minute drive from Echuca. The weaterh was hot..and dry...and there were sooooooo many freakin' flies.

Everything was covered in dust and smelt of smoke...so I've lots of washing to do. Eric got bit by 3 bull ants ...he was standing on a chip that they were snacking on..lucky we had some ice and tea tree oil with us.

The mud looked a green colour when it was smeared all over the kids faces...and it actually stained their skin ...it sort of looks like a fake tan...lol..some of their clothes are stained from it too.

This is where we were camping....there's me in the red top...sitting on my arse..

this is where the kids were swimming...there were steps cut out...in the dirt all the way down to the water..

Billie formally known as Bilbo...laid 2 eggs in 3 days...this is the 2nd one... how tiny is it !!.... the next day I was out shopping and found some candy coated eggs...(they were brownish) but the same size...and decided to trick David...he was somewhere else in the house and I yelled out to him...oh look another egg...and he came to look and I said to him I wonder what would happen if I did this....and threw the egg into my mouth...the look on Davids face was priceless.....it was like eww what the heck are you doing you stupid old woman.

I'm thinking I need the utensils to go with this..

I've done it.... I got the scanner and the camera working ...yay...!!!!

We've been watching a show on ABC, Tuesdays at 8.30pm called Brat Camp

it's great.. it's about some british teenage girls who were adicted to drugs and/or alcohol, and were getting themselves into trouble with the law or boys.

Their parents sent them to this camp in the USA where they are taken out into the wilderness and have to complete set tasks and detox at the same time, they learn to work as a team and talk about their feelings to the camp leaders.

The camp has a 85% success rate...what a great job they are doing.

Emily, David and I went to the Pako Festa today...the weather was a bit crazy..one minute it was nice and sunny...then it'd get all windy and it'd start spitting...then the sun would come out again..and so on and so on.

There was some great music... and 'Stringybark McDowell' (see clip above) was there right down near one of the pubs...so you could go and get a nice bevvy and come and sit outside and listen..one guy was enjoying himself so much he got up to dance around... I could have sat there awhile, but the kids thought it was quite boring...so it was time to move on.

Em and I had some Nasi Goreng for lunch at $6.50 in a cardboard noodle box...it was very filling and very yummy.. it was cooked in a huge wok see picture below... funny thing...2 years ago...in the very same place...probably the very same wok...we had a dish called paella with exactly the same ingredients in ... must have a google to see what the differnce is apart from them being spanish and indonesian.

Dave wasn't feeling very hungry and was complaining of a sore back...

Later we bought a big pretzel with cinnamon on it. for $4.. we weren't that wrapt in it...it was just like a thin twisty bread with cinnamon on it.. won't be buying another one....Also tried some Greek donuts... bleah... crunchy balls of dough dripping in grease (and honey ) I think

There was so many different foods to try and some of it free... like fruit and nuts...mmmmm

ohh and we also saw some of the actors from Home and Away....Emily was going to get in the queue until she saw the size of it.....later it was announced that the queue was really small and that if you got in it now...you'd still get to have your pic taken and get an auitograph.. so we raced down to the stage but by the time we got there...security had shut the gate..

We stood at the front ... Em and I took some pics..and later Jessica gave Em an autographed pic..

oohh I went to a chefs toolbox party yesterday...and OMG I spent $220 on a saucepan...lol..but it is a good saucepan...well it's actually called a saute pan

At the party we had paela cooked in it...and it was fantastic.. it did not stick at all...and the food was yum too....lol....Grumpys and Marks reactions yesterday were priceless when I told them when I'd bought.

I'm sorty of thinking of maybe having a party.. ya wanna come??...

The boys had their school swimming carnival on Friday... I didn't even think about sunscreen...poor Eric now has a sunburned face...it looked like it was going to blister but it hasn't thankfully.

Em made cupcakes today and forgot to put sugar in them...but taste ok now with icing on them...but I did nick a few uniced ones to crumble over the top of the stew that I made with the left over roast lamb...mmmm yummo.

Boy do I need to lose some weight... it just seems to be creepiing on constantly...it's getting crazy..so after talking to a friend yesterday who is doing the Cohens (sp) diet...she told me to chose 4-5 things that I need to do and stick to them.

so..

1. drink 2 litres of water a day (this is going to be hard 'cos I really don't drink much)

2. no carbs at tea time (again this will be hard...lurv potato and pasta and rice)
3. NO biscuits (can you hear me crying already)

4. No snacking after 8.30 pm

let's see how I go with this....and I must get back into walking I slacked off over Christmas

Reading the paper yesterday I had to laugh at the wankers that were caught speeding in a school zone...the excuses they used to explain their excessive speed...were like 'oh my cat just died' don't mind if I run over your kid while I'm trying to get home to my dead cat (not saying he shouldn't be upset about his cat at all)

'ohh I was talking on my hands free phone and didn't realize how fast I was going' speeding is speeding ..regardless of what else you were doing...oohhh what about this excuse.... I farted and got an extra boost of speed, sorta like turbo so I couldn't help but go that fast.

'there were no kids on the road, so I should be let off'' ha ha ha.... that is so lame.

There should be more police patrols/speed cameras around the schools both at the begining of the day and the end ... that might slow some of these dicks down.

Received 2 more books in the post yesterday...'the two shanes' by Lee Tulloch and 'Bridget Jones, the edge of reason' by Helen Fielding...must post the other 2 off... !! and OMG did we get spoilt yesterday ...... K and H just got back from Thailand... with a stack of t-shirts and other stuff for us.. I nearly died... ohh speaking of nearly dying... when we went to the beach the other day the tide was being a total bastard ....one minute it would push you to shore...the next it was trying to pull you out to sea....you could stand in one spot with the water up to your hips the next it was up to your neck....at one stage Eric couldn't reach the bottom and started to panic ...luckily Matt was near by and grabbed him...then not 10 minutes later it happened to me... I lost my board... and then this friggen wave came and dumped me...splutter splutter...

As I was moving off the sand with the towels and bag... the tide came in ..I fell in a hole and wet some of the towels... great ... then I get to the ramp where the life savers have their car.. and I stopped to sort everything out...and the tide came in...wet the bag that I'd just sat down and washed my shoes away...lol..luckily some nice young fella grabbed them for me.. I did have a nice spot to stand while waiting for the kids...right where some nicely built guys were in their wet suits.... NOICE. !!!.. we did have a good time though.

Watched 'Burn notice' last night...that Michael is a norty fella...but what a cutie...
