Yesterday was my niece Bronwyn's 6th birthday..... Happy birthday Bronnie

Today is the 5th anniversary of my nephew passing away...time goes so fast doesn' t it.. and on Saturday...Mum will have been gone for a year already where the heck does the time go???

I was talking to Erics football coach and the team manager ( good friends of ours) the other day... they were telling me about a fight that broke out on the other oval... between two fathers..... one father....(lets call him 'Moron') called out to his son....something like 'takle the faggot' or 'get the faggot'....yes....he yelled that out at an under 12's match....well the father (lets call him 'Good'O') of the boy whom he called a faggot went and confronted him.
Then it turned into a yelling and pushing match between 'Moron' and 'Good'O'

Its a kids game, they are there for fun..... they certainly don't need to be called disgusting names ... this 'Moron' father should be banned from the oval...I think

I think I might join the football committee...and see what can be done about this crap... I don't understand football myself...but I do help out on the committe if I can...like Pie Night... etc...

This just makes my blood boil.......grrrrrrrrrr

on a lighter note... lol... I have finally finished Ngaires challenge 'birds' from scrap your scraps....come on over and join a challenge...come on.... we do need some visitors

The weekend

We're off to Avoca for the weekend for a housewarming/wedding anniversary/marks birthday with my family. Some of us are staying up there for the night..
I made a big pot of chowmein to take nnd a zuchini slice...which I of course had to taste test....didn't want to kill anyone.. you know... but it is quite edible...yummy infact...
I'd never made it before and got the recipe online...just googled 'zuchini slice'

No footy this week due to Mothers Day...but next week Erics teem go back to play the first team they played this year...and lost, so lets see if they can beat them this time...
Erics had his name in the paper for kicking a goal, and then for best on ground.which is good.

finally we have it... lol

was off line for 2 days...and I must say I didn't miss it...but I was busy.

Not much else going on... the kids had interschool sports yesterday... Eric's legs were aching today...after playing 6 games of footy... one on a slight hill...so kept him home today...

Mark and I went out for lunch with his parents for his birthday... the service was great !! I've never seen it so fast..
Mark had tempura fish, I had roast beef (which was very nice), his mum had cottage pie and his dad had tomatoe and onion sausages.

Its been raining here...hooray.. but alot of roads are slightly flooded...where the drains must be full of leaves and rubbish...

Footy training tonight... for Eric..
Tomorrow Dave has the day off.and he's heading to Melb with one of his mates to stay at his Dads place for the weekend.

We'll head in to the market saturday morning....Mark wants a watch...and need to get pressie for Em's friend....Em's got a birthday sleepover on Saturday.

Footy match on Sunday ( I think they are doing bacon and eggs that morning .) ..then we are off to a family event.....we're not going to make it in time for the actual ceremony 'cos footy doesn't finish till 12.30
