lost pressies...

I was sorting through the pressies I'd already bought yesterday and realised I've lost 2....we're hoping they are in the house somewhere.. who knows where I've put them...I had such a headache yesterday thinking about it... and if I have lost them I hope someone that deserved them found them IYKWIM. ( it was just a small part of Ems pressies) I have this feeling that I put them into a cloth shopping bag that was sitting in the kitchen...and then some things were taken to the opp shop.... so hoping that it wasn't put in there.

Just reading about how the Government want Melbourne water users to cut down on their water usage...to 155 litres a day, they say that cutting shower back from 7 mins to 4 mins will save around 42 litres.....we've been doing this for ages...!!! I'm pretty sure that we were already on stage 4 before they went to stage 3...so it's about time they went to stage 4 anyway.. we hardly water our garden, (we have natives) and if we do...it's with tank water.. even though we have been given certain days we can use tap water to do so.. and what the heck is with all the swimming pools and slip and slide things still selling in the shops..don't you think it rather selfish to fill a swimming pool, for personal use.
The Government need to toughen up on this I think rather than pussyfooting about .

The weekends are starting to fill up fast now...I think this coming weekend is the only spare one...best I make the most of it huh

who else is addicted to 'guess the sketch' on facebook...? I was on there one day and this person drew a dog with a muzzle on...we all guessing 'muzzle' and trying to spell it different ways... I think one person got it... but the word wasn't MUZZLE it was MUFFLER....lol

I've been busy Christmas shopping...got alot of it done...but still a bit to go too.
Also have been looking for a dress to wear to a function in a few weeks... and wasn't that a depressing thing to do.... there are some gorgeous dresses out there...(and I don't do dresses, I"m the wrong shape and height) lol... spent a day looking...came home very very sad and tired....but.....a friend (Karen) had a dress she said I could borrow...and it firts perfectly.. just need to get a new bra to wear under it.. and some new fancy shoes...

Headed to Highpoint yesterday to find a dress for Karen for a function she has next weekend....found some that were ok...but not the perfect one...she did find shoes and a bag...and I got my bra and no shoes... OMG we were there for the whole freaking day..

so after my horrid dress shopping experience I have decided I REALLY NEED TO WATCH WHAT I EAT.

((HUGS)) to a dear friend Kathy who has just lost her baby sister Rita aged 34, so very sad indeed. Will catch up with you soon.

I've got 1/2 a day left of classes.... and tonight we have our Food Handling Assessment to do...tomorrow we're having morning tea and then I have to shoot off for an appointment at 12 noon. ...and that will be it...no more classes....I do like going to class..and it's been a fabulous group to be part of. I'm going to miss going in.

Feeling heaps better, still a little swelling so still on anti's...will get to the dentist next week ....

I've started Christmas shopping at last... I swear I start later and later every year... and I've been scrapping .....I"ve done two pages...and am working on a 3rd !!!!

Better go get stuck into my homework ....
