She walked in when everyone else walked out
celebrate her friendship.

Also recieved a parcel from the USA..... I didn't remember ordering anything....so it had me stumped what it was... maybe a comp?? then I noticed the sticker on the box.... it was from ' Better homes and Gardens'....inside there was a stack of pp of assorted companies... beautiful.... some chipboard alphas (creative imaginations) and October issue of Scrapbooks etc...with.... a letter published that I wrote...

I'd forgotten all about writing that letter.. lol..

stuffin' stuff

Well I think we all had a great day on Sunday at Angies.... sorry that we didn't leave your place till almost 6pm Ange...lol..

It was lovely to meet Ngaire and Ruey for the first time and catch up with Ange, Carolyn, Coby, Jessica, Kass, Melissa, Michelle, Sam, Sarah and Stephanie again.

Bought some lovely AC rubons from Angies and Kass's scrapanalia stash....got my HS album and plastic letters too that I bought from Donna..... and I bought some more SU stamps from Melissa.... I love how they are delivered to your door...!!and they come in a neat plastic container...how cool is that.

Went into Geelong yesterday and got some great pics of the kids on the grass near the bay.... and spent $16 on hand made chocolates .... not sure they were worth it...but .. the turkish delight ones were yum.

Today we got some sad news that Marks Nanna died...she was 93...not a bad age huh... funny thing is...its the same day her husband died 24-25 years ago.

Does anyone have any good news that we can hear off.... I'm so over all this shitty bad news...

hiya

I've been redoing Davids baby album.. from 12x12 to my favourite size 11x8.5
it comes together so much easier for me.

Also just started our Gold Coast trip...it's only a year later...lol.

Today I'm working on my roladex cards...hee hee I have to hand them in tomorrow...I'm not going to go too nuts on them I don't think as.... I have to make 14...and it's hard to have 14 of somethings that are all the same...
would have been good if I could have got the sewing machine to co-operate with me.

Going to our Dads tree to put some of Mums ashes there and then heading of to our sisters place for a bbq and slide viewing...it's been ages since we looked at some of Dads slides.

Then tomorrow..... I'm heading to Angies place.... yay.... going to catch up with some of our BB buddies....I think there is about 14 of us???? I hope we all fit in Ange !! lol must remember to bring my camera.

Hoping miss Wendy can make it ..... thanks to Mr Wendy (aka Dunc) for keeping us all updated on her progress .... more warm fuzzies for you Wendz... xxx.

Also going to the market today to buy some suit cases with wheels... big enough for the kids to fit a pillow , sleeping bag and their clothes in for camps this year... Eric and Em are going on the same days.... from the Wednesday to the Friday... not sure of Davids exact days as yet...but it is in the same week... wow... I don't think I'll know what to do.... if they are all away on the same days ...lol

which famous person would you most like to learn that you are descended from?
hmmm gee... I guess I'd have to say.... Queen Elizabeth I... how cool would that be !!!

which famous person would you hate to learn that you are descended from?

I'd have to say Hitler, Charles Manson, Mr Stinky, I might add to this later..

If you could be an ancestor to any living person who would it be and why?

You know I have to say ..... Mark Seymour... he's such a legend..it would be great just to sit and have drinks and a bbq with him.

If you could go back in time and meet any known ancestors of yours who would it be?

I'd say my Grandparents ... as I've never met them.

I tag Melissa, Angie, Kass and Wendy

some pics

Got some new books....The Me book and scrapbook shortcuts...which has tips for getting journaling flowing... and looks great..haven't really sat and had a good look at it yet.. but hope to over the weekend.

Also ..... finally I have bought a tote....I never really saw the point in getting one before as the only place I ever scrapped was at home.... but now that I have been to a few crops and carried everything that I needed ( I made sure I was organized) in a PURPLE supermaket bag.... geez I felt like a dick...but now I have this lovely MM tote and can also use my PURPLE supermarket bag....lol..

and yay ... I did finish my ATCs... so will get them posted asap to Coby... I really wanted to do these with an old dolls head with the blinky eyes.... I was going to mess her head up a bit...and take a photo..... but do you think I could find a doll with blinky eyes in the opp shops that wasn't too pricey... and the right size....no... so I made do with a broken barbie... cut her hair off... threw her in the garden and took a few pics... played around on photo shop... printed sanded added a few rubons and some stitching and finally some dimensional magic .... I'm sooooo late on these ones sorry girls..

Earlier this week a boy in Davids class tripped over and hit his head on a brick wall and was knocked unconcious and started having convulsions... the teacher acted very quickly and sent 3 students to the office to call for an ambulance, 3 students to the staffroom to gather more teachers.... the rest of the class were very distraught...

Two ambulances turned up... then an air ambulance....which took him off to a hospital in the city ... by the time David came to the car park he was quite grey and shaken... it turns out that there is no brain damage... he does have a fractured skull and will be off school til at least next term...

I can't imagine how his parents must have felt .... it would have been a long awful drive for them to the hospital.
