Karyn and I held our pink ribbon afternoon tea on Saturday and even though it was quite warm people came and played games, bought raffle tickets and cakes and the pink ribbon merchandise...and we raised $1256.90...and we had only set our goal at $200.
The dog's doing well..had one injury so far...from where the cat scared her and she hit her head and took some fur off.. and she doesn't like being left outside...whether we are here or not...while outside she like to chew on the back door... which reminds me I need to get her a bone..she has 2 soft toys and a rubber bone...which I don't think she's touched.
We ordered a lounge suite through a store that has some lovely furniture.....we were told 4 - 6 weeks..we waited 4 weeks...Mark rang to see how much longer it would be...the guy ummed and arred...alot..and said 'oh another 2 weeks...come and get it on Thursday 23rd' . So Mark finished work early... borrowed a friends trailer...went and emptied it... went to the store to pick it up and it was the wrong colour... we had ordered FERN they had a FAWN one sitting there... Mark was soooo peeved by this time and ripped through them... 10 minutes later someone else was loading it onto their trailer...so it obviously wasn't ours anyway.....They said they could get the lounge suite to us by Saturday...which was no good to me...as we had the pink ribbon arvo on.. so they offered to deliver it to us on Friday...at their cost (of course)..well Mark had work, and I had class so Dave stayed home ...it wasn't delivered til about 2.30pm anyway...I think I missed the guy by about 5 mins... I got home and it was the wrong fucking colour again.... this time it was CHOCOLATE BROWN....!!!!!! don't ask me how you get fucking FERN and CHOC BROWN mixed up ..and we are not alone people ..it happened to someone else... just recently ...they ordered the same colour as us...and got the same colour as us.. so someone at the factory is not doing their job properly..or maybe the fabrics should be marked with not just a colour code but the name of the colour also... that is...if you want to keep your customers happy...good old ....'F in abundance'...thanks alot for your great service.
I'm slighty addicted to a game on Facebook at the moment, you enter a room and play with other Facebookers...it's called 'guess the sketch' .. love it..you take turns in drawing a word that you are given randomly.. and the others try to guess it...you get points for getting it right and the drawer gets points too.. I need to go play it now... :)

Hope Snowy keeps on settling in well. Oscar and Max love the left over bits of lamb that you can buy in the supermarket too when I forget to get bones from the butcher.
so whats happening with the lounge suit ? are you still getting FERN?
