I was very good yesterday... although I'm kind of regretting it....lol... I went to Angies....she had a 'Bag and Jewelry' party...and the thing was.... that this party had the same brand as my purse...and wow... you can get a bag with the same embossed flowers... not sure if they have alot of colours... ...but anyway... this bag I liked was very very nice.... it was red... and only about $52.. .. sigh..
I did buy some alpha stamps from Angie that she was going to sell on Ebay...great size for ATC's....might have to use them on this months ... I chose this months theme which is "dolls" should be interesting to see what everyone comes up with ..
Didn't get home till about 10...and missed the news on channel 7 which had Erics mate on it... bugger !!!
OH and if you haven't seen the stamps from SASSAFRASS LASS you need to look... OMG the bracket ones are soo cool..

Alisons list this week is to list all the smells you recall from your childhood and the memories they bring back.
I was actually smelling a bottle of body scrub today.... which reminded me of some sort of play doh stuff that my Brother and I used to play with in the bath... all I can remember is that is was white (I think)..and the smell..maybe it was some sort of soap.. you know how you get soap crayons for the kids...???
Cakes/biscuits cooking... mum was always cooking something
Chocolate pudding... mum used to make her own...,mmm I can smell it now..yummo
shepherds pie...I love the smell of this...its one of my fave smells.....this makes me a bit teary... 'cos mums shepherds pie was the BEST.. lucky I can cook it ..huh
funny how my chosen smells are all food....lmao..

We went for a drive to Steigletz the other day.....it was a bit wet and muddy...so didn't get out of the car.
You can see that the trees are burnt (from the fires earlier this year) and also you can see all the new regrowth.... It is amazing how much of the forrest was burnt !...and they were soooo close to houses.

catching up
I fell a bit behind...but here it is... from Alisons list on her blog...
List jobs that you had as a child.
Tidying my room
Dishes
feeding the dog
Ironing tea towels and hankies (to start with)
List all the times you 'knew' something but didn't trust your intuition.
Upon meeting some people... I sometimes get a feeling that they are not good friend material... but then think 'no don't be silly you don't even know this person, give them a go'...only to be proven right in the end.
will have to think on this one a bit more !!

isn't this lovely
My niece Jessyca wrote this and it went into the book we made for Mums service yesterday.
You are the trunk of the tree that we grew from
Your strength holds through high winds that blow
Whipping up through the tall tree branches
Which nestle new twigs sprouting growth
You are the one that binds us together
You are the one who helped us all grow
Now you’ve left us a strong foundation
So as long as no branch is dropped or lets go
So now the branches should all hold together
Shelter each other from the cold winds that blow
And each new branch should know where it came from
The strong trunk from which we all grew.
