feeding the dog
Ironing tea towels and hankies (to start with)
List all the times you 'knew' something but didn't trust your intuition.
Upon meeting some people... I sometimes get a feeling that they are not good friend material... but then think 'no don't be silly you don't even know this person, give them a go'...only to be proven right in the end.
will have to think on this one a bit more !!
